Well, things have been a little quiet on the blog lately, and no wonder. They say that in order for a rivalry to exist, both sides have to be good - it's not much fun otherwise. So it seems we have that situation here with Ken vs. Mark. So we all need to have some empathy (or sympathy or whatever) for poor Mark, who has sunk so low as to have given up. (If you knew Mark, and how competitive he is, you would understand how absolutely stunning it is to hear him say those words.)

So let's all start cheering Mark on and try to lift the poor guy's spirits (sniff, sniff..). Maybe we could root for him as an underdog (he's clearly not a rival), and start calling him Rudy. We just need to give him some encouraging thoughts and feedback, and if you're getting decimated in your league, maybe you could even share some of your feelings on how it feels to be perpetually inferior, week after week after week. We all just need to do what we can to lift poor Mark up (*sigh*).

OK, enough of that crap. Man up, Mark!!! I feel like the Joker here - I need a worthy opponent! So throw the romance novel in the fireplace, pour the white wine down the drain, get some beer and chips out, and start studying matchups! Get it together man, while there's still time!
